Thanks for the heads up on the "show risdb query phone".

Do you know off hand if you can query the RIS Database via the AXL/SOAP interface or if AXL/SOAP is just for the Informix database and not the Real-Time Information Server db?

Cheers!

'ephone' is a CME entity. It is most likely an IOS command.

I'm not sure what the input needs to be but to get a list of phone IPs in CM from CLI it might look more like:
admin:show risdb query phone
/Wes

HI Vince,
   This is the first time i've seen this. it looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure about one thing. On the Readme file it says you can pull the list of your IP's by running " show ephone | tftp ... " . Where are you executing this from? the Call Manager CLI? if so, do you SCP it off of the box or does it create that list in the TFTP directory where you can download? I havent got the chance to try it yet, but looking forward to it. Thanks

All,

Thank you all for your help in the past with this project.

I have recently resurrected this project and have implemented some features suggested by members of this list.

New features:

*         Improved overall speed

* Subnet scanning via SYN/ACK & TCP Socket checking

*         Additional Phone support

*         Script execution time

* Output file sorted by IP address

* Verbose and force overwrite options

* Improved online help -h, --help

It uses some Perl Modules that are not included in most standard perl distributions. Please use CPAN (or CPANPLUS) to install them:

*         Sort::Key::IPv4

*         NetAddr::IP

You can get the latest version from sourceforge

https://sourceforge.net/projects/cipinventory/

I have successfully tested the latest version (v0.10) on various flavors of Linux, but need Windows XP/7/2003/2008 (ActivePerl) testers. Any volunteers? Please use the sourceforge page forums for discussion/bugs/etc.

Thanks,

Vincent Loschiavo
