These aren't VG224s, they are 2800 series routers with dsp profiles
registered to CCM 4.2(3).

In CCM 4.1(3) that VG224 SCCP auto registration would fill the Event
Viewer log files up making them unuseable...other workaround was to put
a dummy dn/line on every vg224 port so they are registered.

Pretty sure CM 4.2 doesn't support the sccp auto-config virtual ports.
At least make sure they are on the last CM 4.2(3)ES. You can disable it
by removing the command "ccm-manager sccp".

Hi Ryan,
Yes, I have actually seen this on two different 2800 series routers.
One has a SIP trunk to the PSTN (no MGCP on this one) and the other has
T1's configured under MGCP in CCM. Also, I am running CCM 4.2. I was
not able to run the command below. Here is some output from the second
router (w/ SIP trunk and no MGCP). The 3 profiles I have created on
both routers are all registered. Both routers are configured in
failover mode in the event connection to CCM is lost.

Are you sure this is an MGCP gateway? The virtual endpoint is typically
seen with vg224 sccp devices when the sccp auto-config is enabled.

Hi Everyone,
I have an MGCP GW setup and have seen a couple of things that do not
make sense.
The first thing is this error. However, calls go through with no
problem, inbound and outbound and all resources are registered with CCM.
sym_xapp_process_ccapi_events: minor is ZERO - should be non-zero for
CCAPI event
The second thing I see is this auto configured endpoint.
AutoCfg_Virtual_Endpoint Oper State: ACTIVE_IN_PROGRESS - Cause Code:
NOT_REGIS_WITH_CCM
Active Call Manager: NONE
TCP Link Status: NOT_CONNECTED, Device Name: AN168DD75E80FFF
Reported Max Streams: 0, Reported Max OOS Streams: 0
Supported Codec: g711ulaw, Maximum Packetization Period: 20
I am not sure what it is and do see any way to remove it. All profiles
that have been created are registered just fine.
Thanks,
Bill Hendrix
