[cisco-voip] what should i see when i have LDAP/AD synch in CUCMv7.1(5b)?

Oh, pushing the Sync button the directory page doesn’t provide any feedback as I recall. There is no need to sit and wait on that page as it won’t actually return (or at least that is my experience). I would just go see if you have users after a few minutes.

yeah, i'll test without SSL to see if it works. i remember having issues with SSL before.

however, i did restart dirsync and the sync seems to be taking a bit longer.

this will have to wait until tomorrow though....afternoon meeting.

You mentioned certs. You are using LDAP over SSL? I suggest grabbing the DirSync logs off the pub and see if there is anything glaring.

Any chance to test without SSL on port 389/3268?

Thanks for all the suggestions...

DirSync activated on publisher - check (does it need to be activated on all subs?)
AD certificate upload and tomcat restarted - check
perform full sync clicked - check and check

The only thing is, the sync seems to complete a bit to quickly considering how long it takes to complete on Unity Connection. It should take at least a few minutes more than five I would guess.

I've copied all the parameters from Connection over to CUCM, so it should work.

I'm getting RTMT installed now and will have to download some trace files. If not, TAC time.

Lelio

Did you hit the “Perform Full Sync” button on the LDAP Directory page when you were done configuring? Also, I often forget to activate the DirSync service on the system.

OK. I configured all the LDAP sync stuff. No errors.

When I go to users I see nothing.

In Connection I have to import them. Is there something similar in CUCM? Is the fact that I see no users in the user listing mean something is still not working?
