Hi Abebe,

Cisco (as far as I know) will never be competitive with the most basic
systems as that is simply not their target market.

Panasonic for example has some reliable PBX systems in that size and
with SLTs (single line telephones) it is certainly significantly below
$1000 per user (look for a KX-TDA 30 for that size). Off brand PBX
systems might be available for less, although this will largely depend
on what you can actually buy where you are from.

Hi Dave,

I reside in one of the poorest places in Africa so my insistence on
cost. The solution is for a small motel which needs about 40 phones.
They just need very basic features.There is no copper PSTN access for
outgoing calls only GSM connection. If the UC system is affordable
that is the best option for me.
