[cisco-voip] Multicast MoH from router flash "Two Sub servers"

I am not using Multicast from CUCM at all....I am only using it for
remote sites...for HQ and DR sites I am using Unicast from local servers
at each site...the problem with the below suggestions is that the
administrator of the remote branch is different entity than the HQ
"actually it is another customer that is having a sort of hosted
services" and the IT at the remote site knows that to change MoH he
needs to just replace the file on his router's flash...if the Multicast
server fails the MRGL will point the phones to the backup option
"Unicast" which will for sure play another MoH file!

Setting two MOH servers to use the same multicast address and port is a
very bad idea. Rather you need to dictate (via MRGL) that devices you
want to use the router's MMOH only have access to one MMOH server on
CUCM. You can use the other one as unicast for backup purposes (if you
wish).

Hi all;

I am running it MMoH without a problem with one server...but the problem
is that I have 2 Sub servers that should serve MoH...I can't figure out
how to point two servers to use the same multicast IP and port
number...or there is a way on the IOS to configure two multicast sources
with different IPs or Port numbers?
