[cisco-voip] Route List reset needed

Resetting the route list does not affect calls in progress whatsoever because it doesn't reset the gateways. Resetting the H323 gateway would drop the call, and resetting an MGCP gateway if using ccm-manager config would drop a call in progress.

I have not observed the need to reset route lists for some time, probably since 7.1 at least. I used to see it all the time from 4.x - 6.x.

So if I reset the route list does it reset the h.323 gateways in the route groups and drop the active calls?

Does this behavior change in any newer version?

It will not work without the reset of the route list, unfortunately.

Running CUCM 6.14. I need to change the order of a route list so calls go through a different gateway first. I know it says I have to reset the route list but do I really need to? Will it work without the reset? I don't want to drop the active calls on the gateway.
