[cisco-voip] Extension Mobility

Hi Joel,
Yea, that's what I was afraid of. I did just discover for myself actually that I don't need to make multiple user device profiles. Still a lot of work to turn up hundreds of users.
Thanks!

Hey Tim,
I dont know of any other way to make it quicker except than to use BAT.
However as of CUCM 7.x you only need to create one profile per user even if they use different phone models. The same profile will work an different phone types.
Not sure if you are running CUCM 7.x or not.
Hope that helps you some,
Joel P.

All,
I'm starting to enable Extension Mobility across hundreds of users. I've successfully set this up, and am able to login. I'm wondering if anyone has a good idea of how to set this up quickly for existing users? There's quite a few steps per user to set this up (enable mobility on the phone, set up user device profiles, enable mobility on the user profile, setup the profile for the user, etc, etc). Other than using BAT, is there a quick way to do this? Can you have the users somehow use the profile from the device they're already associated with? Setting up multiple user profiles for each user (different models of phones) will take quite a bit of time and I'd rather not go this route unless needed.
Thanks,
Tim Huffman
