that'll do it every time.

or when you think it's "vee" "el" instead of "vee" "eye"

Thanks Bill--

that was it. I didn't add the VI at the end of my default device name.

In my experiences, this has happened to me when the device prefixes didn't match up on both system (e.g. CiscoUM-VI or whatever), or because the port group in Unity Connection needed to be reset.

I think I went through the integration documentation for integrating CM to UC 7. but the voicemail Ports are not registered. is there a user account that I missed that has access to these ports? Any idea what I missed would be a big help.

The doc I used was: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/connection/7x/integration/cucm_sccp/guide/cucintcucmskinnypdf.pdf

A second question is are all the voice ports supposed to be in a single Line group like the old Unity / CM days or should they be in one line group for incoming calls and individual line groups for each outbound port? Looks like the previous but I'm just checking since this is my first crack at Unity connection.

Thanks all

Scott
