Agreed.  I have done it plenty of times with CM3x/4x but never with the linux platform.  I suppose it is worth a try.

Based on Cisco documentation I have read, it doesn't seem to me that Cisco supports swapping hard drives at all.  Having said that, in older versions of CCM (version 4.2), I have definitely done this and it worked.  Of course, that is a totally different platform too (windows based).

I have to RMA one of my subscribers. I am pretty sure that I have to re-install when the new one gets here; however, is there a way I can swap the drives when the new one gets here?
