[cisco-voip] Conferencing Codecs Across WAN

A hardware or DSP conference bridge can input/output different codecs
from the different participants. So you can have a G711 stream from a
phone local to the CFB and then a couple G729 streams from remote
phones.

Make sense?

Thank you for your swift reply.

So if i set the region of the conference bridge to G729 for all sites,
all calls from the other site will be G729 regardless of the original
codec used?

Thank you,

Jason
