[cisco-voip] CCM 7.1.3 questions

Save just saves the configuration on the server, but doesn't apply it to
the phone/device/etc (but if the phone is reset/restart/apply config it
will pick it up after a Save).

Apply Config applies the current configuration to the phone/device/etc
with minimal interference, no re-register, no reboot, etc.

Restart causes a de-register/re-register with the server.

Reset causes a full reboot of the phone.

Most of the time you only need to Save then Apply Config.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CCM 7.1.3 questions

Hello all,
Just upgrade from 4.12 to CCM 7.1.3, and a couple of questions:
When is the 'apply config' needed versus just the 'save' button,, do we
have to apply config and save now?

Also, the reset/restart seems reversed now, the restart makes the phone
download the config file again versus
the reset which shuts down a device and brings it back up. Is this
correct?

Thanks
