The Desktop Sync service can be safely restarted and often fixes this
issue.

Subject: [cisco-voip] UCCX 5 Services to Restart?

Hi,

Occasionally our UCCX server will only "cosmetically" update
resource/agent changes. The new agent will show up in
Subsystems>Resources, and you can configure its name, group, extension,
team.

However if you look in Desktop Admin, the agent isn't listed at all much
less in the proper groups. I notice also that I have an inactive agent
which I can "delete" but it doesn't actually go away. I tried the
"sync" in Desktop Admin and that doesn't help.

A restart of the server will fix it, but does anyone know what services
in the Control Center I might restart to fix this rather than a restart?
And if you do, what will that do the everyone who is currently using the
system?

Thanks

jeff
