[cisco-voip] dial-plan modification

If I understand correctly, you are trying to take every DN and put a two
or three digit code in front of the existing DN.
The easiest way to do this (if running CUCM 7 or above) is to use the
Import/Export capability. Basically, export the existing dial plan,
which will likely export as a tar file. Extract it, modify the csv file,
re-tar it, and import that tar.

I have around 900 IP phones in 2 locations + 900 EM profiles that I need
to change because of a CTI application.
Ok, for the SQL but that means I need a DB specialist :(
Any free applications that do this via AXL that I'm not aware of?
Could we use a demo version of Cisco Provisioning Manager?
Thanks for the input.

Can you elaborate a little? You could make a special partition and put
translation patterns in them to make it more scalable and flexible... If
you want to just modify the DN's in bulk, I suggest using some SQL.
CUCM Plugins has an AXL SQL Toolkit you might be able to use for it.

Hello everyone
Do you know any quick methods to change the dial-plan on a CUCM cluster
(i.e. hardcoding a site code on every phone DN)?
Thanks,
Ovidiu
