[cisco-voip] Publisher Restore on Call Manager 7.1.5

Here is a snippet from the 6.1.2 release notes I had in my 6.1.DR plan:

"Beginning with Cisco Unified Communications Manager Release 6.1(2), administrators do not need to rebuild subsequent nodes by reinstalling Cisco Unified Communications Manager and restoring a backup when replacing a first node. The Disaster Recovery System for Release 6.1(2) restores the database on subsequent nodes automatically when you restore a first node. The restoration may take up to several hours depending on the number of nodes in the cluster and the size of the database being restored.
When the restoration completes and the Percentage Complete field on the Restore Status window in the Disaster Recovery System shows 100%, you can begin rebooting the subsequent nodes in the cluster. When all of the subsequent nodes have rebooted and are running the restored version of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, reboot the first node. Database replication on the subsequent nodes may take an hour or more to complete after the publisher reboots, depending on the size of the cluster. Using the Database Summary window in the Real-Time Monitoring Tool (RTMT), check the replication status value on all nodes. The value on each node should be 2 when replication setup completes. If replication does not set up properly, use the utils dbreplication reset CLI command as described in the Cisco Unified Communication Operating System Administration Guide.
The Disaster Recovery Administration Guidefor Release 6.0(1) and Replacing a Single Server or Cluster for Cisco Unified Communications Manager Release 6.1(1) support the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Release 6.1(2) but do not provide information on these new features "
Unfortunately I do not find this to be very clear in the 7.1 docs either.

I'm pretty sure the requirement to restore every node after you do the pub changed in 6.1. In 5.x this was the case.

No problem, I guess I am going to have to lab this unless someone else has.

I am also looking at a Pub replacement at some point and if all subsequent nodes need to be restored I could be looking at a major outage to accomplish this.

I had not seen that in the DRS Admin guide Steve, thanks for pointing
that out - I'm very curious as I have a publisher server I need to
replace soon.

I was planning based on the "Replacing a Single Server" guide. yikes...
