Only played in the lab, but it works spectacularly, and has some pretty neat new features

MWI works without a third-party app? Goodbye, Unity....

Yes to all questions. To oversimplify:
-set up a SIP trunk from CUCM to the EXUM server
-set up a route pattern pointing to the SIP trunk
--if you have multiple EXUM servers, use multiple SIP trunks and a route list, etc.
-set up a voicemail profile in CUCM with a pilot # that is the same as the route pattern pointing to EXUM
-UM enable user(s) within AD, set up their EXUM extension to be the same as their IP phone DN (or a modified version if you're translating numbers via the voicemail profile, etc.)
-Set up the misc. EXUM related options (dial plan, etc.)
-Done

Yes, users can retrieve voicemails from their IP phone by pressing the messages button. They can also access their address book and calendar, etc. ("Exchange Voice Access")

Yes, MWI works as expected

Has anyone deployed EX 2010 and used it as your voicemail system? Can you play the voicemails through your Cisco IP phone? I read something about a play from phone option but don't have it in a lab yet to test. Does MWI finally work? I am looking for production deployments.
