UC HA is active/active, you do need equal ports on each server, the port
license doesn’t fail over. You will have a separate license for each UC
server.

As a side note, I have not been to happy with UC HA implementation. Seems
very buggy and has caused loss of service at least two times (still waiting
to confirm if the latest problem was HA/replication).

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows whether in a Cisco Unity Connection 7 high
availablilty setup I need to setup the same amount of ports on the
subscirber and the publisher? Or can I just have 140 ports on the publisher
and it'll failover automatically without anything configured on the
subscriber???

Regards
