Well, if you can pull together a little engineering 48 Vdc @ .52 AMPS (POE+ at25 watts) to 12 vdc @ 1 AMP..
It does look possible.
Dropping the voltage by ¼ then increasing the current by 100%
The end load should stay the same-
So if you want to build a module to take POE and output 12 volts at 1 Amp..
You might have a market....
I am sure we have a few HAM operators on the list that would enjoy the academic challenge-
I can think of one off the top of my head!!!
