Why shouldn't an external call be able to hear the annunciator?

>From the System Guide (7.1.2)...
"An annunciator, an SCCP device that uses the Cisco IP Voice Media Streaming Application service, enables Cisco Unified Communications Manager to play prerecorded announcements (.wav files) and tones to Cisco Unified IP Phones, gateways, and other configurable devices."

Hi Peter - when you say it didn't cut it though, what exactly do you
mean. I've been reading around and everything seems to say that an
external caller shouldn't hear the annunciator.

Thanks,

Neil
