It's highly unlikely the Nortel will clock from him.  If he pushes clock to the Nortel errors are on the other end, you still have fax/credit/postage devices getting slips. Just because counters aren't incrementing doesn't mean no problems <grin>.  I should also mention if it's voice only no data over modulation (fax/credit/postage) you can often get by with slips/errors.  We really didn't ask what kind of stuff we are worried about slips/errors.

Bill,
This will work fine..
Remember the bug is that you can’t pull 2 different clocks from 2 different providers..
If you are providing the clocking on one port as local source or internal source.. and then clocking external on the other port ---all is good..

If Sprint is in one port and AT&T in the other—this is where you will have issues if you are trying to  receive clocking from both…

Is there still an issue where I can not have two different clocking sources from two different providers on the same two port card? One of the ports is used as a PRI connection to a Nortel box where I am acting as the TELCO. I want to use the other port as a local PRI to the PSTN. Should I split this on two different cards?
