Yes I like following the guides too in order not to get into wired
problems...but I was asking what will happen if J

The customer already ordered this license as he expected to grow fast
and he may change the server soon...but what if I leaved them on the
7825 all registered..will this has any impact on the performance of the
server?

I think it will work and register.

There is a reason Cisco puts out those design guides on what you should
do. I have never gone wrong following the guides. If they need more than
24 ports they need to step up to a higher server.

As per the below document Unity connection 7.1 on 7825 only supports 24
port in integrated messaging scenario...

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6789/ps5745/ps6509/
data_sheet_c78-491743.html

however I was able to configure a license with 144 ports and all of them
are registered to CUCM...anyone know how this will work?? Would the
server accept only 24 calls and reject what is above that or what??
