[cisco-voip] ATA186 to Fax machine

If 291-2555 is both your phone DID and the ATA186 DID, does the call
ever reach the fax machine and if so, does the fax machine pickup?

Hello All,

 

I am having the following issue:  My fax machine is not receiving faxes,
However, I can send faxes.  The ATA186 has the same DID number as my IP
Phone 291-2555.

 

Checked the setting on the fax machine several times, changed between
(F/T, Manual, and Fax Only) mode.  Voice mail and regular calls are no
problems.

 

Any ideas to resolve this matter.
