[cisco-voip] CallManager 8x GUI to remove rings from phones

There is no GUI method anymore starting from CM 5.x

You have to download the RingList.xml file from the OS administration,
up-/download files I believe. Edit the file and upload it again, overwriting
the existing one.

This is system wide!

In CallManager 4.x I recall you could edit the RingList.xml on the c: drive.

 

Is there a GUI method for removing rings from a 7962 in CallManager 8.0(3a)
either per phone basis or system wide? I saw a post about in 5x download via
the TFTP File Manager, edit and re-upload?  

 

Would this work for both SCCP loads and SIP loads 9.x ?
