Does this work identical for SIP loads on phones?

"this is system wide" - well, sort of.
It is system wide for any phone that points to this server for TFTP. The TFTP directory contents are not automatically replicated to other nodes. Phones pointing to other nodes for TFTP will still receive complete list.

There is no GUI method anymore starting from CM 5.x
You have to download the RingList.xml file from the OS administration, up-/download files I believe. Edit the file and upload it again, overwriting the existing one.
This is system wide!

In CallManager 4.x I recall you could edit the RingList.xml on the c: drive.
Is there a GUI method for removing rings from a 7962 in CallManager 8.0(3a) either per phone basis or system wide? I saw a post about in 5x download via the TFTP File Manager, edit and re-upload?
Would this work for both SCCP loads and SIP loads 9.x ?
