[cisco-voip] CUCM Region Question

I was adding a couple new locations in CUCM and just noticed something.  My
UCON server is set to use G.711 and I just noticed it's Device Pool is in
the same Region as all of my phones which I set to use G.729 for all of my
remote locations.  Can I create a separate region for UCON and set it to use
G.711 from all of my remote sites?  I wasn't sure what was best practice
here.
