[cisco-voip] Resetting DSP resources

I know from reading the Archives that DSP resources have been an issue 
for many people especially when dealing with echo on a T1 line.

My question is has anyone developed or come across an automatic way to 
reset these DSP resources.
For example:  Reset on the following condition:

    * When the DSP is idle
    * When it has reached a "determined number" of TX/RX
