That's because the installs are tested with Raid 0+1 and verified to perform to specifications that way.

You'll notice the DL380-G5 specs that match the 7835-H2 calls for 2 hard drives.

The 4-drive server is the 7845 class but also requires dual CPUs and more memory.

Yes the model is on the supported hardware list, its an MCS 7835H2, just re read the Data sheet and it says only supports raid 1.

I don’t understand your question. The software configures the drives based on the install script. You should not need to modify anything.

Anyone tell me why cucm v8 only let's you install raid 0+1 with 2 hard
drives?  I have an mcs 7835 with 8 bays for drives, unity connection
install is the same way why !?!? Any help around this road block is much
appreciated.
