I noticed that too on my new 7945/7965, no sticker but doing G722 very well.

I understand that Cisco is no shipping 100% G.722 capable handsets, not more narrowband, but I could be wrong.

Subject: [cisco-voip] wide band handset vs regular handset

I have noticed that the 7942/62 comes with the wide band handset. I'm assuming it's the wide band handset cause it looks a lot like the one illustrated on this page, even though there is not a 14 digit number etched at the bottom of the handset.

Questions:

 * any reason why the 14 digit number does not appear at the bottom of my handsets?
 * any big deal with using the regular handset on these phones if we're using regular G711?
