I would agree with that. However (and I cannot find the bug ID), I did
hit a big once going from 6.1 to 7.0(2) in which the DLU licenses went
away, had to be deleted and the entries manually removed through the
Informix tool, and then reentered. It was a bug that showed up under
Presence but I hit it with CUCM. So, that's what caused me to look
toward that bug.

Unfortunately that is a CM defect.  That does not necessarily mean it
will merge into the CUP codebase.   Usually there is a CUP defect to
ensure the change is incorporated to CUP.

Just did my first install and the post install setup web page is
complaining that I have invalid characters in my hostname.

 

I use dashes (-) in many of my names and I've installed dozens of CUP
servers with dashes in the names.  Is this a bug or a feature?
