[cisco-voip] RTMT trace file deletion

Nicholas,

Yes, that works just fine. But, you are right, it still is a manual process in RTMT, but much easier than CLI. I was hoping for something where I could select a server and choose "Delete all traces and log prior to a specified date".

Thanks for the info though!

Kevin

- Trace and Log Central -> Remote Browse

- Select applicable trace logs

- Expand node and trace log folders -> highlight logs -> delete

It’s still a relatively manual process, but saves you having to download them

Subject: [cisco-voip] RTMT trace file deletion

To free up space on the CUCM servers, is there a way to delete the trace files *WITHOUT* downloading them? I know you can download them and check the box to “Delete Collected Log Files from Server”, but is there a way to have it simply delete old trace files older than a specified date? I can do this via CLI in each folder, but RTMT would be much quicker if there is a way to do this.

Thanks,
Kevin
