[cisco-voip] CUPS 6.0.4 to 7.x upgrade - Do the 6.x workstation clients work after the upgrade

I'd like to be able to sweep through the workstations the following day to upgrade the clients.  Does anyone know if the 6.x clients will continue to work once the server was upgraded and activated to 7.x

How about those same 6.x clients if  you take the next hop  to 8.x ?  Will they function in the interim until the workstations can be touched.
