Sounds like you need a Broadcast Hunt Group

Hi Scott,
I basically want it to ring a bunch of extensions and whoever answers first to be given the call.
thanks,

What do you want to happen with "Call Blast"? all 6-7 extensions ring? this is called a broadcast hunt group.
Do you want it to auto answer on all extensions? that would be a shared line with auto answer.
Off net stuff is going to be more of an issue. I'm guessing UCCx will have to be involved.

Hi,
We have an emergency DID phone number that people can call that kind of bypasses all of our auto attendants, etc and goes directly to all of the phones in the office.
I am trying to replicate this functionality in our Cisco phone system.
Is a 'call blast' group the "proper" way to do this?
We have about 6-7 extensions internally that we want to hit and then also two outside phone numbers.
I would appreciate any opinions/advice you have in this regard.
thanks,
-Drew
