[cisco-voip] billing for non-basic calls... CDR call legs

Just wondering what people are doing out there for tracking/billing non-basic calls?

For a simple call, one CDR record and that's it.

For a transfer, there are multiple legs.

Add any other feature, i.e. conference call, etc and I'm sure this complicates things.

My goal is to basically say, if you initiate the call, you pay for it, no matter who you transfer it to and no matter how long they stay on the phone for. I say this with the limited knowledge and recollection I have. For example, phone A calls an LD number, phone A transfers to phone B. This would result in a CDR of phone A calling LD# and a CDR of LD# calling phone B.

Thoughts?
