Yeah, the cannibalizing risk seems to make the most sense on the current
feature state of firmware. Same risk applied to the SPA500 series which has
the SPCP protocol check to make sure it's working against a UC500 device.
The risk of the phones otherwise replacing the 79XX phones was too high
(though the 69XX series appears to be closer to the SPA's).
