Incoming line is digital (PRI, R2) or Analog (FXO)?

Strange problem I'm troubleshooting.
External caller calls into a specific number, about 1 sec after they
call they get a fast busy.
Internal user hears the phone ring, when they pick it up there is no
longer an active call on the phone.
According to CAR there is never a "Connect" timestamp, I see the call
start and call end though. It's usually a second or less.
Only seems to happen with this extension, and only with certain incoming
callers. Other callers to that same number have no problem getting
through.
I'm at a loss as to what could be causing this...Faulty phone hanging up
on them? Problem on the caller's side? PRI glitches?
Any way I can find more info, maybe even a reason the call is being
disconnected?
