Hello,

I don't see a line where the codec is forced.

Thanks,

Subject: [cisco-voip] cube g729 codec

Hi,

I was wondering why a 3745 cube would show g729ar8 and not the configured g729r8
on the "show call active voice compact" result.

#AS5400
   3082649 ANS T11 g729r8 TELE P4267
   3082650 ORG T11 g729r8 VOIP 2874 10.10.10.16:17956<http://10.10.10.16:17956>

#3745
         9 ANS T11 g729ar8 VOIP P4267 192.168.0.120:17314<http://192.168.0.120:17314>
        10 ORG T11 g729r8 VOIP P2874 172.16.10.27:2344<http://172.16.10.27:2344>

I have forced g729r8 on all peers. Below is my setup.

AS5400 --> 3745 --> avaya

---------------------------------------------
#AS5400 (192.168.0.120)
dial-peer voice 1 voip
 destination-pattern 2874
 progress_ind setup enable 3
 session target ipv4:10.10.10.16
 dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
 no vad

#3745 (10.10.10.16)
dial-peer voice 1 voip
 destination-pattern 2874
 session target ipv4:172.16.10.26
 incoming called-number 2874
 dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
 no vad

flash:c3745-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T8.bin

#AVAYA control (172.16.10.26)
#AVAYA media (172.16.10.27)
----------------------------------------------------

Also attached is the h245 asn1 debug.

Is there a way to correct this?

Thanks and Regards.
