For your personal use I'm sure it would be pretty simple to use greasemonkey or a user script to change the order of items in a drop-down list.

what exactly are you trying to accomplish? with a fairly simple sql
query, we could sort stuff all sorts of ways... are you just bothered
by how the numbers display in the pages or are you trying to
accomplish some sort of sorting for another purpose?
