Generally I share the same sentiment as the other people on the thread:
I consider UC on UCS to be a significant step forward. The virtualized
deployment does add a lot of flexibility (even when used with directly
attached storage) and installs are done quite a bit faster.
Only drawback I see is some added complexity when doing a restore
after a HW failure. since the VMWare Layer has to be taken care of as
well.
