[cisco-voip] CUBE SIP to H323 query

If you're doing ANY type of transcoding from one codec to another (ex. G711
to G729), or conferencing, or really any type of mixing of RTP streams, you
will need DSP's. The 2821 should have came with some DSP's if you purchased
a Voice feature set. Even if you use T1 PRI and no trunking to anything
else, you still need DSP's. Do a "show inventory" to see what your kit
currently has installed. If SIP calls are delivered via G729 and your
handsets support it (which almost all Cisco handsets do support it), then
simple calls from a SIP provider shouldn't have to be transcoded since it's
codec is something the phones understand natively. It really depends on what
all this gateway serves as.
