[cisco-voip] CUCM 8.5 and CUMA

Dear all;

 

It have been said here before that starting CUCM 8.5 a CUMA server is no
longer required, can anyone shade some light on how the design will look
like? How the CUMC client on the phone connects and get its
information...will ASA be required or not??

 

I think this topic is causing a lot of confusing...if anyone has a
document that clearly explains how this replacement is achieved.
