You cannot delete any of the MOH, CFB and MTPs. If you don't use the CFB and MTP in any media resource list, they will not be used. The MOH servers need to be disabled to stop the default music from being played. Just uncheck the "run" flag check box. This is from v7, but it should translate.

Subject: [cisco-voip] 11 server cluster and services

I am currently installing a cluster with 11 nodes (8 subscriber, 2TFTP
and 1 Pub)

Now, i haven't activated any services, but in CM Unifed CM i see all
servers configured. I thought the CMs are only (auto-)configured as soon
as i start CCM-service?

Also, i have now 11 MOH-servers, 11 CFB and 11 MTP-server although i
haven't activated any Media Service on the nodes?

Can i delete the CMs, MOH, CFB, and MTP servers that i dont want to use
or should the be kept in the datebase?

Any problems with TAC-support when 11 CMs are configured, but only 8 are
used?

Thanks in advance.
