Is the phone number correct?
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk379/technologies_tech_note09186a008012e95f.shtml#topic1
Cause i = 0x8283 - No route to destination
Origination Point = 82
82-the public network near the local user (local telco switch)
Disconnect Cause = 83
83 = No route to destination.
The call routes through an intermediate network that does not serve the destination address.
This cause indicates that the called user is not reachable. A user is not reachable when the network used to route the call does not serve the required destination.
This cause is supported on a network-dependent basis.
Another option perhaps is to remap the called party Plan & Type to "Unknown".
Check the debug from a voice call from a handset and see if it answers and receives tone but shows a different Plan / Type
Called Party Number i = 0xA1, '0112057584'
Plan:ISDN, Type:National
Cheers
Dana

Hi,
I have a Cisco Fax Server configured to use a Cisco 2911 as the H323 gateway. I can receive faxes with no problem, but my outbound faxes are failing. The debug output is as follows:
Called Party Number i = 0xA1, '0112057584'
Plan:ISDN, Type:National
Jun 22 10:41:51.255: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- CALL_PROC pd = 8 callref = 0x8110
Channel ID i = 0xA9839F
Exclusive, Channel 31

Jun 22 10:41:51.603: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- PROGRESS pd = 8 callref = 0x8110

Jun 22 10:41:51.619: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- PROGRESS pd = 8 callref = 0x8110
Progress Ind i = 0x8288 - In-band info or appropriate now available
Progress Ind i = 0x8282 - Destination address is non-ISDN
Jun 22 10:41:56.079: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- DISCONNECT pd = 8 callref = 0x8110
Cause i = 0x8283 - No route to destination
Progress Ind i = 0x8288 - In-band info or appropriate now available
Progress Ind i = 0x8282 - Destination address is non-ISDN
Jun 22 10:41:56.079: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: call_disc: PI received in disconnect; Postpone sending RELEASE for callid 0x809C
I can make outbound calls from my IP Phones without any problems using the same E1. Any suggestions on what the problem could be?
Kind regards,
Sechaba Mokoena
