[cisco-voip] something different

What immediately comes to my mind is you could use a shared DN auto answer
across many phones and have a three digit translation pattern DN to dial that DN
configured to auto answer....I don't see how you could have an auto MeetMe
conference since you always need to have a MeetMe conference initiator. If you
don't mind using MeetMe for this purpose, you could always have one person
initiate and then assign a trans pattern to the three digit extension to dial a
real MeetMe conference DN. You would, of course, be required to isolate this one
MeetMe DN in its own PT/CSS so it is available at all times since you've stated
this is for emergencies. Nothing like an emergency situation where people can't
reach the phone number they want to really put a damper in your day.

Subject: [cisco-voip] something different
We (Royal WE) are looking for a new feature:
We would like to dial a 3 digit extension XXX and have all the supervisor phones
at our facility auto-join a conference call. (Not push to talk)
Affect: In case of an emergency all supervisors would report to a specific area
to check employees and equipment, then the plant managercan XXX to get real time
reports and identify problem areas in the plant.
Currently we are running CUCM 7.0.2, CUCCX 7.0 and are upgrading from Unity 4.1
to Unit 7.
What would be the "best" approach to get this to work?
