Lelio,
Did you figure out how to fix this phone? I have one doing exactly the same thing.
Thanks,
-C

Time to span the port and get a packet capture to see what's going on.

What's the switchport config look like? If it's a trunk currently make it an access port in the voice vlan and see if that helps.

Unfortunately, on these old ones, you need to get to the menu to do a reset. Menu is not accessible. :(

You could always try a full factory reset, not sure what the key combination is for a 7935, but Google probably will . That’s fixed a similar problem I’ve had on 7940s.

this is a 7935 - the original polycom/cisco hybrid conference phone.
the only java in this phone is the coffee that has invariably been spilled in it. ;)
i'm gonna take it to another building to see if it works. otherwise, i'm calling it DOA.
We'll have to consider putting our new conference phones on a contract.

Bad phone, try doing a Java reset, this corrects the problem about 50% of the time, with that loading issue.
I have had 3 phones with that issue so far out of the last 1000 phone installs.
If anyone can shed more insight on the problem I would like to know what it is too.

I'm trying to get a 7935 working, but it gets stuck at "obtaining IP address... loading application"
A 7936 works on the same port, so I'm pretty sure the network and DHCP and TFTP settings are all fine.
I can't get in the menu to reset things either.
I'm googling....
Anyone have any ideas?
