I am very sorry for the typo.  Kindly see the corrected version 

ephone 1
 mac-address xxx
 type 7962
 button 1:1
 button 2:2

Now when i pick the handset, button 1 (or shall i say DN 1 ) is selected. Can i 
change this behaviour so any time i pick the handset, button 2 (or DN 2) is 
selected ?

firmware - 'show ephone'

#2 from my exp. you shouldn't be able to assign 1:1 and 1:2...it's either one or 

the either unless you use overlay.

Hi all.


I have following 2 queries regarding CUCME

1) How can i view the firmware version of registered IP Phones ?
2) If i have mapped 2 different DNs to 2 different buttons of 7962
     ephone 1
     mac-address xxxx
     type 7962
     button 1:1
     button 1:2

When i pick the headset, by default it picks button 1. How can i change this 
default behaviour ?
