Is your card on a network module? If so, it looks like it is unable to access your onboard DSPs.

Subject: [cisco-voip] DSP issue

All,

I have the issue of ;

config-controller)#pri-group timeslots 1-20
% Not enough DSP resources available to configure pri-group on controller E1 1/1
% The remaining dsp resources are enough for 0 time slots.
% For current codec complexity, 2 extra dsp(s) are required to create this voice port.

Here is the strange part

I have the following dsp's

NAME: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with four DSPs on Slot 0 SubSlot 4", DESCR: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with four DSPs"
PID: PVDM2-64          , VID: V01 , SN:

NAME: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with four DSPs on Slot 0 SubSlot 5", DESCR: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with four DSPs"
PID: PVDM2-64          , VID: V01 , SN:

NAME: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with Two DSPs on Slot 0 SubSlot 6", DESCR: "PVDMII DSP SIMM with Two DSPs"
PID: PVDM2-32          , VID: V01 , SN:

I have unassigned the DSP from the transcoder and conference bridge and still the same error

any ideas ?

Regards,

John Van Laecke
