Thanks for the responses, I got this working yesterday, “Get User” followed by “Authenticate User” did the trick.

Thanks again!

Subject: Re: [cisco-voip] UCCX Scripting Question

Here are the bare minimums to upload a document in any version of UCCX from 4.5 to 8.5:

1. A variable of type User - value should look something like this: user[aholloway]

2. The Authenticate User Step - you reference the User variable, and specify the PIN or Password; like you are doing with "12345"

3. The Upload Document step - you reference th User variable, a fake document: try text[hello, world!]; a language: like l[en_AU]; and a filename: like "test.xml".

Create a test script with nothing but those elements, and then test it out. TIP: Use Active Debugging: F10, or click the half circle arrow.

Hi everyone,

I’ve done a search and haven’t turned anything up for this.

What I’m trying to achieve is on UCCX 8.0.3, I’ve done this before on the Windows based versions of IPCC/UCCX but since its now an appliance I’m not sure I understand how it all works.

So.. what I’m trying to do, is write a script for evacuation purposes where it will allow you to write a value to a XML file, I’ve also got a similar problem when creating a recording prompt script but anyways

How is the best way to do this?

I’ve got a screenshot showing the script in what I think is the way, but cant work out why the file isn’t uploading.. I’ve looked at the MIVR logs and its not showing anything up either, just that file isn’t being uploaded…

Surely there is something obvious I’m missing!

Thanks in Advance!
