I know that you can use partitions and time schedules to do time of day routing.
here's what i would do:
line 1: extension 5555 in partition daytime_pt (with appropriate schedule)
line 2: extension 5555 in partition nighttime_pt (with appropriate schedule)
extension 5555 has ring no answer set to forward appropriately with a low ring no answer timeout
this way, if the person at the phone is there, they can try to answer the phone.
i haven't used partitions and schedules so i could be off my rocker.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Call forward to specified number on specified hours
Hi
Is it possible to forward one number (eg. DN 600 to DN 700) on
specified hours (18:00 - 07:00) on CM 4.2 or CUCM 8.0 ?
I thinking about scripting (AXL for 8.0 and SQL based on 4.2) but
maybe there is a simpler solution to do this ?
Robert
