hi all,
unlike previous windows based uccx platform , i gather that linux based uccx
7 and 8.x do offer , dc based 2 x boxes cluster design in a hot stand by
mode. so i am just wondering on the feasibility of the following. appreciate
your thoughts & guidance on the following queries.
1) can I install just 2 x beefy uccx appliances only on a fail over
configuration , 1 at each dc and in a cluster with a latency of 10 ms ?
2) can i run all associated apps such as , acd , ivr , cti , reporting ,
quality management , workforce management , email management , web
management ..etc on a single DC box ?
3) can i run up to 100 csqs and 200 agents on the 2 dc uccx server cluster
design ?
4) lastly is recent uccx 8.5 a stable platform ? does it have any known or
unknown issues ? or else , is it a safe bet to move on lower platforms such
as 8.1 for example ?
5) if i were to go for 200 agents , shall I have to purchase 200 cad
licenses ? also , if i were to have 10 reception consoles , i got to procure
10 x attendant console licenses , right ?
thanks a lot
tony
