[cisco-voip] Subscriber Failure after power loss, is there any way to salvage this install?

I have not tested it.

that said, you *should* be able to boot from the 7.x install media, select apply patch, and feed it the 8.x install media or upgrade file. that is how the feature was designed to work.

Wes;

Quick q, the ariginal deployment for this site was 7.X, I got mixed up with another site I built, Can I insert the 7.X and still put the 8.5.1SU3 CD as the patch or will I need to borrow the 8.5.1 cd from another deployment?

I believe you will need to use the install with upgrade option. Answer yes during the install when it asks if you want to apply a patch.

you could try the recovery CD. but even that recommends a re-install after usage.

insert disk1, install fresh, and get this server off to a good and healthy start.
