[cisco-voip] Video and Phone for Door system?

To get video to display on the phone you need a video capable phone. You can use CUVA to get video on a PC with the 7945/65 phones but they will not show video on the phone itself. For the video reception if you can get the video stream on the network via multicast or other you should be able to use a phone service or CTI application to instruct the phone to view the media stream.
Another option is to use the video/audio from the door to make an actual call to the phone(s) but that's dependent on the phone an camera hardware you are using at the door.

My understanding is that CUCM is capable of video calls as well as being able to trigger relays, but I’m not exactly sure how to put these pieces together…

1) They want a camera overlooking the entrance door
2) When someone presses the door buzzer/phone they want the video to come up on specific phones
3) They want 2way communication between the person at the door and the person answering the door
4) They want a way to trigger the door to open

What we currently have:
1) A door with a buzzer/phone allowing 2 way communication
2) A relay that can currently trigger the door through our older NEC system.

I guess the question is, how do I get a separate camera to trigger via the door buzzer system and then display on the phone while 2 way communication is happening between the intercom and the phone answering the door. We’re currently using 7945/7965s, I assume that model phone will work?

For the door trigger, I assume it’s just a separate extension off of the CUCM that goes to an analog gateway and then to an analog relay trigger, similar to a Viking RAD1a?http://www.vikingelectronics.com/products/view_product.php?pid=329#

Anything else I’m missing?
